From November 5th - December 5th, a solo exhibit of the original artwork from The Found Book of Losst was on display at La Galerie de Miss Rey. I launched my book during a combined vernissage & signing event at the gallery on November 20th.

The Found Book of Losst

A whimsical series of interconnected microfictions about misunderstood monsters, my second book, The Found Book of Losst, explores themes brought up by the pandemic, such as community, isolation, and loneliness and weaves them into an ode to the human experience.

Independently published by the author and printed in Montreal, Québec at Le Caïus du Livre.

The Inspiration Behind

The Found Book of Losst

This project was born of the Inktober challenge. For Inktober 2020, I decided to use Sha’an d’Anthes of Furry Little Peach’s "Peachtober" prompt list.

I challenged myself to interpret each word as a kind of monster and created an illustration & microfiction every day. Over the month I built the lore of this mysterious world - a strange place, but one full of unexpected similarities to our own.
